All garbage and trash items must be on the curb in front of your home, and stacked together prior to 5:30am the night before your trash pick-up day. Items may not weigh more than 50lbs. or be more than 4 feet in width. Large car parts or furniture must be picked up by a private service. The city will not haul this.
Additionally, the city of Martinez will not dispose of your electronic waste, rocks/dirt/concrete, or hazardous waste including chemicals, paints and automotive fluids. Vegetation waste will be removed, but must be tied into compact and neat bundles and prepared ahead of time. Large or excessive vegetative waste (such as tree trunks) may require you employ a private waste removal or hauling service.
